Celebrating wellness and self-love through tea, with an array of decorations we made. Safe to say in these times of change, scones are gravity holding us securely to the ground.

Us retired folk on the moon were inspired by those shooting stars wizzZZzzing by. We gathered in a large group and made this poem, with each resident making their wish. Leave any wishes you have in the comments young ones. Wish From a Star, From Not So Far: Bright ball of light in flight. Spoke in star dust to our moon, “See you soon" and then "watch me zoom.” Once seen, never forgotten, Joyfulling skidding past Saturn. We all watch in slow motion, Making wishes in admiration: Karl is content, no need for a wish, Some may say it’s an opportunity missed. Tina and Peter long for the countryside, an earthly, peaceful place to reside. Yet Rita yearns for a city, Money in hands, shops, Paris is pretty. Harry’s one wish is simple, Lancing by the sea, with all of the family. Nevermind just one star, Ivy needs a thousand, Glittering from a ball in disco land. Jean wishes to join all the crew, Friends, family as a shiny orb in the blue. Lily loves the sun, but more so her own son, her husband and when breakfast has just begun. Desmond seeks simple living, free from pain And good health for everyone else, all the same. Marge would like a field full of dogs, Annette yelped, “me too” and they leapt like frogs. Jane’s one wish, she let fly away, Because with these smiling faces, Is where she hopes to stay. May caught the star and placed it in her pocket, Winking to the rest, “this life, this love, we shan’t forget it.”

Greetings from the retired folk on the moon, just wanted to share a poem from our Planetary Poetry Club, each line written by a different resident: Our Little Corner of the Moon: Peace of night, A sliver of moon The sight of the earth slight Between the paisley curtains adorning my room. Up here, smoke still swirls from my cuppa tea It is never lonely with my Comoonity. Vastness is bliss, Like a library that is endless Opening gaze to the eye of Jupiter, As if opening a book, Throwing a rod into nothingness Collect memories from my hook. Rocket Man prepared me for retirement in outta space, My helmet on the peg, Wrinkles on the moon's surface. My walking stick floating by, Zero gravity allows me to fly.
